Cloudy Saturday and haven’t seen your friends in awhile? Meet up at 101 Beer Kitchen! I met two friends for lunch and we sat at a high top in the bar area. Our server was very friendly and helped my inexperienced craft beer friends sample some beers until they found one! They liked Fruity Beers and Hard Ciders. Not my kind of beer. I had the Head Hunter IPA. Perfect temperature.
We decided to order a featured appetizer, Bratwurst baked in a crescent roll and served with mustard and greens. It was a great game day starter. Our server came back a few times and we were so busy chatting we kept neglecting looking a the menu, but sometimes you just have to catch up with friends! We finally ordered and we all got something different so we could sample each other’s choices.
I had the pulled pork and spicy coleslaw. Perfect choice with my IPA. The pork was tender but I wish it had a little sauce on the side. I felt it needed a little something extra. The walleye, pizza and salad were all spot on! We finished our meals and we got caught up on kids, work, home projects and gossip. It was a good time!
